Small Groups Ministry
“Stir up one another to love and good works”
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. – Heb. 10:24-25 (ESV)
Discipleship Groups
Each Sunday morning at 9:30 AM, discipleship groups(or traditionally known as “Sunday School” groups) meet to encourage each other, study the scriptures, and pray with one another. The purpose of these groups is to help you deeper in your faith through the study of scripture. They are led by qualified teachers and they serve as an essential part of the discipleship of our church.
Community Groups
Community groups meet throughout the week in the homes of church members. The purpose of these groups is to develop Christian friendships for the purpose of encouragement, prayer, bearing each other’s burdens, accountability, and fellowship. We believe that your church family is more than just people you see on Sundays. Your Community Group members are people you can live life with through seasons of struggle or rejoicing. This is a great place to meet new people in our church and develop meaningful relationships. If you would like to join a community group, email Pastor Brent and a Community Group leader will reach out to you. brent@livinghopebaptist.org
